Before under going the training one should be thankful to have this opportunity to God, parents & Guru. The Archery Association of Dindigul Respects & follows the Oaths of Mr Shihan Hussaini.

Oath of the coach

“ I Thank you for putting your trust in me & accepting me as your mind coach & guru for life. I shall strive to be an ideal & inspiring role model & continuously motivate you by example of my own thoughts, words & action. I will push you to identify your strengths & weakness & transform all your negatives in to positives & bring out the best in you. I will constantly care for you & your well being, provoke you to dream big, aim higher & reach every target that you would set your mind’s arrow to. I will be strict in maintaining discipline , forgiving with unintentional mistakes, impartial in my attention, selfless in my motives, generous in my appreciation, constructive in my criticism & humane in correctional punishments. I believe that updating my knowledge is as important as remembering what I have learnt & so will continue to learn new developments & practice my old skills diligently. Training Oath

“ I exist to be the number one Archer in the world ! I can, I will, I must win a gold medal in the next Olympics/world championships, I owe this to my flag, my country, my people, my parents, my guru & my god, I’ll work harder than the hardest, endure pain & injury… sacrifice all pleasures, I’ll hit the ground earlier than the earliest, leave later than the last, focus in nothing but my shooting & push every limit of mine !”

“ When at the shooting line…….

I will completely disconnect with my exteriors & seamlessly connect with my interiors.

When at the shooting line…….

I’ll always be super consciously aware of perfection in form, flawlessness in technique And totality in focus.

When at the shooting line…….

My greatest strength will be the power of my patience, Unwavering positivity despite a bad shot! A pathetic end!, A horrible set & dismal shooting.

I will get locked into an imaginary cage of mental concentration, never ever get distracted By thoughts, sights, sounds, people, happenings & my competitor.
